The JZX chassis cars are something I have been interested in for quite some time all thanks to none other than the UK's Monky London. Seeing videos of Monky drifting his JZX90 on youtube and hearing the sound of a 1JZ engine for the first time back in 2013 made me fall in love. The JZX chassis is somewhat underrated all thanks to it being the less sporty and more practical brother of the Toyota Supra, however being just as capable to push big power and have great looks too. The JZX100/Chaser is by far my favourite of the lot and it's easy to see why when you take a look at the photos of Luke's down below. With a 2.5L straight six engine (1JZ) mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox and what is soon to be a Garrett GTX3076 Gen II under the hood, Luke's car won't just look good, it'll be one hell of a fun car to drive too!
Luke's Chaser is sporting a Traum Ares body kit which if I hadn't known would have thought was a factory option with how well it matches the body of the car. He is running SSR SP5 wheels with MCA Purple coilover suspension (23kg front and 7kg rear), Cusco adjustable front camber arms and upgraded Cusco sway bars, not to mention the small TRD touches in the interior too.
Chasers seem to be popping up more and more here in Sydney as of late, but if they're all as nice as Luke's I won't be complaining!
