Adam’s Evo 6.5 Tommi Makinen Edition

For a lot of people, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is a dream car, whether it be an Evo 8, 3, 9 or even the 10, but I think it’s safe to speak for every single Evo fan when I say the Evo 6.5 Tommi Makinen Edition is the holy grail of Evo’s. While a red one might be what you picture when you think of them, that doesn’t stop Adam’s white Evo 6.5 from being just as good.
Adam’s Evo is simple yet tasteful on the outside with a carbon lip kit, custom carbon front lip made by Anthony Badua, carbon rexpeed mirrors, sitting nicely on some 17 x 9 +20 Blitz 01wheels with the ride height dialled in via MCA Blue coilover suspension.

Although the car is quite simple in looks, it definitely packs a punch with a very nice set up thanks to the guys at TME Motorsport in Springwood.
If you open up the bonnet on Adam’s Evo you’re greeted by a TME built 2L engine consisting of Carrillo Pro H-beam rods, JE pistons, standard crankshaft, Kelford 272 camshafts, with it all being held together by ARP studs.
Adam’s Evo is putting out 340Kw @25psi thanks to a GT Pumps 712 turbo which is hanging off an SME V4 exhaust manifold and singing the sound of our people through a Kakimoto exhaust. Tuning work once again thanks to TME Motorsport via the standard ECU with Haltech flex fuel goodies and an M&W COP kit helping with ignition. Fuelling comes from a Walbro 255 fuel pump in the standard fuel tank, feeding a radium surge tank which is set up in the boot next to the relocated battery (wait til you see this!). The surge tank houses twin DW300 fuel pumps which feed Bosch 1250cc injectors. You’ll also spot a few other goodies in the engine bay such as a HKS SSQV blow off valve, Cusco catch can, Greddy Trust intercooler and a Koyorad radiator with a Ralliart radiator cap.

Do you see that boot set up? Adam’s Evo is the first car I’ve ever seen with a hidden set up like that and it is amazing! It also sets the standard for the rest of his interior, with it being kept in immaculate condition, but in no means completely standard. Inside you’ll find an A-pillar mounted Turbosmart boost gauge, a Ralliart shift knob, Ralliart handbrake cover, a Momo steering wheel and a Defi Zavance multi-gauge to keep an eye on the vitals.

Adam would like to thank TME Motorsport for all their work on the car and making it what is it today. You can follow Adam on instagram to keep up with the car here.
